Tejkarran Singh Bajaj has stepped down from Jio Studios after a stint of over seven years, most recently serving as SVP and Head – Originals.
In a LinkedIn post, he wrote: “After 7.5 years, it is difficult to capture this journey in one post. Jio Studios has been a defining chapter of my professional life — a place where I had the opportunity to build, learn, lead, create, and grow alongside some truly incredible people.”
“From shaping originals and ambitious stories, to building teams, navigating platform priorities, solving creative and business challenges, and collaborating with creators, partners, production teams, actors, writers, directors, and colleagues across functions — this journey has given me memories and learnings that I will always carry with me,” he added.
Bajaj joined Jio Studios in December 2018 as Head- Originals at Jio Studios. Before that, he was associated with Zee Entertainment Enterprises as Head – Original Content, ZEE5 India, from August 2017 to November 2018.
Prior to that, Bajaj worked with Maxus for four years and seven months. He joined the company in 2013 as Creative Director (West)-Content. In 2015, Bajaj was elevated to Senior Creative Director (West and South)-Content. In the past, he was also associated with NDTV.
