Mauro Ramalho, Chief Creative Officer at Publicis Brazil, has been appointed as Jury Chair for the Creative Commerce, Use of Data and B2B categories at the ABBY Awards 2026, powered by The One Club for Creativity and The One Show.
The appointment has marked Ramalho’s continued association with global advertising platforms, as he has remained active across international jury panels and award circuits over the years.
Ramalho has brought over 25 years of experience in advertising, having worked across three countries with multiple global agencies. He has led Publicis Brazil as Chief Creative Officer and has previously served as VP and Executive Creative Director at R/GA São Paulo, where he has worked on global accounts including Verizon, Google, Meta, Samsung, American Express, Heineken and Ally, collaborating with teams across New York, London, Portland and California.
Prior to this, he has spent over a decade building CUBOCC into a recognised creative agency within the IPG network. He has also led creative teams at FCB, focusing on integrated work across online and offline platforms.
Ramalho has worked with AKQA in San Francisco on brands such as McDonald’s, FOX, Target, Kraft Foods, Nike and GAP, contributing to “The Lost Ring” campaign for McDonald’s, an early alternate reality campaign. His experience has also included roles at Organic in Toronto and AgenciaClick.
Over the years, he has won multiple national and international awards including Clios, Effies, TikTok Awards and MMA Smarties, and has served on juries for platforms such as Andys, TikTok and Lisbon Awards.
