Danone India has appointed Priyanka Verma as its new Chief Marketing Officer. She brings with her a strong track record in building and scaling iconic brands in the food and beverage space.
Verma updated her LinkedIn profile to reflect the new role.
She joins Danone after spending over 16 years at Unilever from May 2009 to July 2025, where she held key leadership positions across marketing, nutrition, and customer strategy. Most recently, from July 2024 to July 2025, she led the Functional Nutrition Portfolio in India, managing brands such as Horlicks, Boost, and Horlicks Plus.
Prior to that, from April 2020 to July 2024, she headed the Horlicks High Science Portfolio and Medical Marketing.
Her earlier roles included Customer Marketing Director for the Foods and Refreshments division from December 2018 to April 2020, and brand leadership for Kwality Wall’s from December 2016 to November 2018, as well as Knorr from January 2014 to November 2016.
She began her Unilever journey as a Business Leadership Trainee in May 2009.
