Bollywood’s leading ladies have ventured out and built their own production houses with the aim of empowering fresh talent. They are running multi-crore production houses and have definitely established a footing for themselves in the industry.
Here’s a list of the successful and talented women who are running these production houses and acing at it!
Taapsee Pannu
She quite recently took to Instagram and announced the founding of her own production house, Outsiders Films. The production house has been launched in collaboration with Pranjal Khandhdiya who is a producer and content creator with over 20 years of experience. They also announced their first first project which is called Blurr.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Purple Pebble Pictures, a film and television studio which was started in 2015 is known for the famous, The Sky Is Pink. She runs it alongside her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra.
Twinkle Khanna
she is the co-owner of Hari Om Entertainment with her husband, Akshay Kumar. The production house has two subsidiary companies – Cape of Good Hope films and Grazing Goat Films.
Deepika Padukone
She owns a production house by the name, KA Entertainment which has been known for the Deepika Padukone starter, Chhapaak. Deepika has maintained in the past that she would love to work as a producer as she believes that the line of work resonates with her personality.
Anushka Sharma
Founded alongside her brother Karnesh Sharma in October 2013, Clean Slate Filmz has established a name for itself particularly in the OTT segment. It has launched movies that have garnered acclaim rather much, the likes of it being Bulbbul and Paatal Lok.
Madhuri Dixit
RnM Moving Pictures is owned by Madhuri Dixit and has worked on International projects with Priyanka Chopra’s Purple Pebble Pictures. It has also produced the movie Bucket List, a Marathi movie that was quite a hit.
Chitrangadha Singh
C.S. Films, which launched its first film, Soorma was co-produced with Sony Network. Built on the acronym of her own name, the production house was incorporated in 2015.
Dia Mirza
Born Free Entertainment, Dia Mirza’s production house has given quite many noteworthy films. Her first production was Love Breakups Zindagi. Recently, the house produced an OTT series titled Mind the Malhotras.
Tisca Chopra
Her production house, Fursat Films LLP is famous for the short film Chutney which has also been written by her.
