Online selling websites have become very popular these days. Consumers like to buy from e-commerce sites because of the ease and timing saving in shopping. eBay is one of the most popular websites that has been around for years from the toys of children to cars everything is available on eBay.

Below are the 5 strangest things that got auction on eBay to date.

1. Britney Spears Hair

One of the saloons from Britney used to get her hair cut auctioned her hair to sell on eBay but due to their policies, Britney’s hair never got sold. The starting auction of her was $1,000,000.

2. F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet

The owner of this plane had purchased it from a scrap yard. The auction stated that the new buyer can pay $40,000 a month for just 2 -3 hours of flight. After knowing about this auction, the FBI got active and the seller was notified that he could only sell this to a citizen of United States but unfortunately, this auction didn’t get a buyer.

3. New Zealand

Yes, you read that right. A citizen of Australia tried selling New Zealand. Buyers had already started showing interests and the auction had reached $3000 before eBay took it down as selling a country is not valid according to eBay’s policies.

4. Original Hollywood sign

This item got sold on e-Bay in November 2005 when someone auctioned the original 1923 Hollywood sign. The seller gave the reason that he was busy on some other project and needed some money urgently to finance a Hollywood project. The original Hollywood sign got sold for $450,400.

5. Group of four men from Australia

Source

Four guys auctioned themselves on eBay for providing entertainment for a weekend. These 4 guys promised on eBay that whoever pays for them will get guaranteed laughs, fun and beer for the whole weekend. Guess what? they got sold with a $1,300AU bid.
