YouTube has partnered with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to expand fan engagement around the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 through live coverage, highlights, Shorts and a dedicated tournament content hub.
The collaboration has included the launch of the ICC Captains’ Carnival on the ICC’s official YouTube channel and livestreams of all warm-up matches, marking the first time these matches have been broadcast on YouTube.
As the tournament has progressed, YouTube has introduced official match highlights in multiple formats, including short clips and extended versions available in English and Hindi. The platform has also featured key moments from matches through YouTube Shorts, delivering clips in under 30 seconds.
In addition, YouTube has created a dedicated tournament hub for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Users searching for the tournament on the platform have been able to access highlights, analysis and related content through a centralised experience.
According to YouTube, sports content has remained a major draw on the platform, with a large share of Indian viewers using it to follow sporting events before, during and after matches.
“Through our collaboration with YouTube, we are making the tournament more accessible than ever before through live coverage, local language offerings, creator-led storytelling and enhanced discoverability across the platform.” — Finn Bradshaw, ICC Head of Digital
