WeWork India Management has strengthened its leadership bench with two strategic appointments aimed at accelerating growth across its Managed Offices business and Rivet by WeWork India.
The company has appointed Zuni Abhijit Chitnis as Associate Director – Managed Offices and Drishya Pillai as Associate Director – Business Development for Rivet by WeWork India, reinforcing its focus on enterprise-led growth and customised workplace solutions.
Chitnis joins the company with more than two decades of experience across hospitality, client relationship management and flexible workspaces. In her new role, she will spearhead the expansion of WeWork India’s managed office business in Pune, deepen enterprise relationships and support organisations seeking tailored workspace solutions as they rethink real estate strategies.
Before joining WeWork India, Chitnis worked with CoWrks, where she was involved in driving flex and managed office solutions for enterprise clients.
Meanwhile, Rivet by WeWork India, the company’s design-and-build platform, has brought in workplace strategist and architect Drishya Pillai to support its next phase of growth. With experience spanning architecture, interior design, workplace strategy and commercial real estate, Pillai will focus on business development, strategic partnerships and client acquisition across the country.
Her appointment comes as Rivet looks to strengthen its position in the customised workplace solutions market, offering integrated, experience-led office environments tailored to enterprise requirements.
Commenting on the appointments, Priti Shetty, Chief People and Culture Officer, said, “India’s workplace market is undergoing a structural shift, and WeWork India is leading that transformation. Today, enterprises are looking for strategic partners who can help them navigate workplace transformation across design, flexibility, operational efficiency, and employee experience. As we continue to expand our presence across managed offices, workplace consulting, and design-build solutions, strengthening leadership in these high-growth segments is a strategic priority.”
She also added, “Zuni and Drishya’s appointments are a reflection of that strategy. Their deep market expertise and strong industry relationships will help us accelerate growth, deepen client partnerships, and enhance our ability to serve enterprise customers across their workplace lifecycle. These appointments reflect our long-term commitment to building future-ready leadership and investing ahead of market demand.”
“Managed Offices have moved from a niche consideration to a strategic imperative for enterprises prioritising efficiency and flexibility. Pune is one of India’s most dynamic commercial markets, with strong demand across IT, BFSI, manufacturing, and GCCs, and the opportunity here is significant. WeWork India is uniquely positioned to capture that demand, and I look forward to driving that growth for our enterprise clients,” said Zuni.
On her new role, Drishya said, “Organisations today are making smarter decisions about their workspaces, and what they want is a partner who understands both design and business. A great workspace design goes beyond aesthetics, it must be buildable, adaptable, and able to perform years after handover. At Rivet, backed by WeWork India’s deep experience in designing, building, and operating workspaces at scale, we understand how people actually use spaces over time, and what it takes to make them last. That intersection of thoughtful design, operational reality, and long-term performance is where Rivet sits. I’m excited to help build Rivet into the market’s trusted partner.”
