Times Music has acquired Catrack Entertainment, marking its third acquisition after ARC Musicq and Symphony Recording Co. The move has expanded its catalogue with a Punjabi music library.
Catrack Entertainment, established in 1990, has built a catalogue featuring artists such as Babbu Maan, Malkit Singh, Channi Singh and Dolly Singh. The label has also supported early work of Manmohan Waris, Surjit Khan and Sukhwinder Panchhi.
The acquisition has added a legacy catalogue with opportunities across streaming, film, OTT integrations and brand partnerships. Times Music has continued to strengthen its regional catalogue strategy through multiple acquisitions, aiming to scale distribution and monetisation.
The deal has also aligned with Times Music’s ongoing partnership with Primary Wave Music, focusing on expanding music IP across markets.
