The Premier League Appoints Abhinav Sharma As Head Of Marketing & Events

Premier League has appointed Abhinav Sharma as Head of Marketing & Events. He joins the league after over 12 years across automotive, alco-bev and sportswear marketing roles. In his new role at the Premier League, Sharma will oversee marketing and events initiatives, leveraging his cross-category experience in consumer branding, sports marketing and lifestyle-led campaigns. 

Most recently, Sharma served as Vice President Marketing at Ultraviolette Automotive from March 2024 to March 2026. Prior to that, he spent four years at Bajaj Auto between March 2020 and February 2024, where he was Category Head for Sport/Electric brands including Pulsar, Avenger and Chetak Electric.

Before entering the automotive sector, Sharma was with Pernod Ricard India for two years and one month between March 2018 and March 2020. During his stint, he served as Brand Manager for Jameson, gins and cognac brands from March 2018 to December 2018, before being elevated to Lead – CHIVAS Scotch Portfolio from January 2019 to March 2020.

Earlier, Sharma spent four years and eight months at adidas between August 2013 and March 2018. He began as Manager – Market Activation and Retail Marketing, ISC: India from August 2013 to March 2015, before moving into Brand Marketing – adidas Running from April 2015 to December 2017. He later handled Brand Marketing for Running & Training at adidas India from January 2018 to March 2018. He has also worked with Titan Industries and SABMiller India.
