Tarun Jha, CEO- Havas Creative India, Moves On From Havas Worldwide India After One Year

Tarun Jha, who had joined Havas Worldwide India as the Chief Executive Officer in March 2023, has decided to call it a day at the agency to pursue other interests.

Tarun Jha, CEO- Havas Creative India, Moves On From Havas Worldwide India After One Year

After being associated with Havas Worldwide India as Chief Executive Officer- Havas Creative India for more than a year, Tarun Jha has decided to call it a day at the network agency to pursue other interests.

In the past one year, he had been instrumental in building the creative agency, putting strong processes in place, and hiring a strong team of leaders who helped the agency witness an impressive growth.

With Jha calling it quits at Havas Worldwide India, Anupama Ramaswamy, Chief Creative Officer; Anirban Mozumdar, Chief Strategy Officer and Kundan Joshee, Managing Partner, will continue to lead Havas Worldwide India jointly and will report to Rana Barua, Group CEO, Havas India, Southeast Asia, and North Asia (Japan & South Korea).

Prior to joining Havas Worldwide India, Jha served as the Head of Marketing at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India for a period of more than eight years.

Before that, he also worked as an International Marketing Consultant at Skoda Auto A.S. from March 2012 to February 2015.

Jha also served as DGM- Marketing at Skoda India from July 2008 to February 2012.

In the past, he also worked with companies such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Videocon Group, Ogilvy & Mather and Mudra Communications.

Expressing his views on moving on from Havas Worldwide India, Tarun Jha, CEO- Havas Creative, Havas Worldwide India, said, “My time at Havas India has been a short yet a transformative experience for me, almost a refresher course that has equipped me to become a more adept and all-round marketer. Witnessing the ‘One Havas’ philosophy and the effective collaboration between the 20 agencies and specialized divisions has almost been a revelation. I look forward to applying all my acquired skills and knowledge to the art of building enduring brands and businesses, something that I have always loved doing.”

To this, Barua, Group CEO, Havas India, Southeast Asia, and North Asia (Japan & South Korea), added, “Tarun was an intrinsic part of the team, playing a key role in establishing a robust foundation for Havas Worldwide India. He actively contributed to important discussions and helped in putting together a strong and capable second line of leaders. I wish him all the best for the next chapter.”
