Swiss Beauty's CEO Saahil Nayar Moves On To Pursue A New Entrepreneurial Venture

Saahil Nayar, CEO of beauty brand Swiss Beauty, has decided to move on to pursue a new entrepreneurial venture.

Nayar joined Swiss Beauty as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in October 2022 and served in that role until April 2023. As per the brand, Nayar led Swiss Beauty through explosive growth, increasing revenues from 200 to 500 crore in about 18 months. His strategic vision and deep understanding of the retail landscape led to the brand’s expansion into Tier 1 and 2 cities. Nayar’s departure from Swiss Beauty marks the end of a significant chapter and the beginning of an exciting new one for him.

Previously, he served as the Co-founder and COO of IDAM House of Brands from December 2021 to October 2022. He lead all front-ended aspects of business including marketing strategy, brand marketing, performance marketing, e- commerce sales, new brand launches, new products development, H.R and ongoing product improvements besides general business strategy for growth, at the company.

Between January 2020 and December 2021, he was serving as Vice President – Business at The Moms Co. Some of his key responsibilities at the company included setting up the overall ecommerce process and digital team, leading all brand and advertising spends across all platforms of awareness and conversion, responsible for end-to-end P&L and campaign management and managing design team to maintain brand equity.

Prior to that, he worked at Revlon Inc. as Head Digital: Color Cosmetics and Personal Care from August 2019 to February 2020.

In the past, he was associated with Kama Ayurveda, Seventy Event Media Group, Infinite Luxury Brands: Versace | Roberto Cavalli | Missoni, Ermenegildo Zegna Group, RAAS, Nehsahf Global, Nitya Marketing and Tata Teleservices.

Nayar said, “I am most excited about making a positive difference in people’s lives—whether for consumers or the people I work with. I believe you can only build a great ecosystem by adding value, and I’ve identified a key missing piece in India’s beauty space that I aim to address, by offering a better alternative.”

Nayar also mentioned that the time is right for his next entrepreneurial leap.

“The industry trend is changing, and I believe it’s the perfect time to catalyze the next transformation. Over the years, I’ve worked with multiple brands and witnessed their growth trajectories firsthand while learning countless invaluable lessons. I plan to apply these insights to create meaningful change,” he added.
