Reckitt has appointed Shankar Gaur as its new Quick Commerce Lead for India. Gaur brings a wealth of experience in brand management, digital strategy, and key account management to the table, making him well-suited to lead the company’s growth and brand visibility in the rapidly evolving quick commerce sector.
He announced the appointment in his recent LinkedIn post, expressing his excitement about building brands in a dynamic world where availability, visibility, and conversion happen in minutes.
Having been a key part of the Reckitt team since 2018, Gaur has steadily advanced through the company’s ranks. Most recently, he served as the Brand Manager for Lizol starting in 2025, where he was responsible for driving topline and bottomline growth for the brand in India.
This role followed a successful tenure as the Brand Manager for Mortein from February 2023 to December 2024, during which he managed brand equity and oversaw the strategic launch of the Mortein 2-in-1 spray.
His journey with the firm began in May 2018 as an Area Sales Manager, after which he progressed to Regional Key Account Manager and subsequently Corporate Key Account Manager, where he handled national retail accounts between 2020 and 2023.
Before joining Reckitt, Gaur spent nearly two years at Vodafone, where he honed his sales and distribution expertise. From 2017 to 2018, where he served as an Area Sales Manager in Punjab, driving revenues for the Bathinda cluster and managing a comprehensive distribution system.
His time at Vodafone commenced in June 2016 as a Management Trainee in Mumbai, a role that saw him focusing on prepaid account management and analysing consumer lifecycles to refine product strategy.
In the past, Gaur also worked with Nestlé as an Industrial Performance Officer from July 2012 to June 2014.
