Ravi Krishnan Exits Flipkart After 10-Year Stint

With over 15 years of experience across Flipkart, BCG, and Merrill Lynch, Ravi Krishnan has exited Flipkart after a 10-year run. He led $2Bn+ P&Ls, scaled new verticals like Shopsy and Flipkart Reset, and built AI-led commerce experiences as part of Flipkart Labs.

Ravi Krishnan Exits Flipkart After 10 Year Stint

Ravi Krishnan has exited Flipkart after ten years in leadership roles across business, product and innovation. He most recently served as Head of Product – Category Experiences & New Channels from June 2023 to May 2025, where he led growth across Fashion, Electronics, Beauty, Recommerce, Shopsy and Video Commerce, and scaled Gen-AI shopping products like Flippi and Review Summarisation.

He announced his exit via a LinkedIn post.

He was earlier Head of Flipkart Labs from January to December 2023, driving innovation in 3D, AR, Web3 and generative AI. From August 2021 to January 2023, he was Vice President and BU Head – Appliances & TVs, managing a $2Bn business and leading a 150-member team across business, growth and operations.

Krishnan joined Flipkart in 2015 and held multiple roles across category growth and new initiatives. Prior to this, he was with Boston Consulting Group from June 2010 to June 2015, working on high-impact strategy projects in retail, automotive and industrial goods.

He started his career as a Summer Analyst at Merrill Lynch in 2009.
