Rajiv Bajaj will cease to be a non-executive director on the board of Bajaj Finserv after choosing not to seek re-election at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled for July 31, 2026.
In a regulatory filing dated June 9, 2026, the company said Bajaj informed the board of his decision to reduce his commitments as his responsibilities at Bajaj Auto have expanded in recent years. These include the establishment of Bajaj Auto Technology and Bajaj Auto Credit, as well as the recent acquisition of KTM.
As a result, Bajaj has expressed his intention to step down from the Bajaj Finserv board and has not offered himself for re-election at the forthcoming AGM. He will retire by rotation and formally cease to be a director upon the conclusion of the meeting.
The Board of Directors acknowledged his decision and placed on record its appreciation for his contribution and long association with the company.
