Prashant Iyer Joins SNPI As VP & Head Of Marketing For Sony LIV

Prashant Iyer has joined Sony Pictures Networks India as Vice President and Head of Marketing for Sony LIV. In this role, he has been responsible for leading the platform’s overall marketing strategy, including brand, content, partnerships and go-to-market initiatives, while driving audience growth and engagement for the OTT service.

He has shared the update on LinkedIn, announcing his new role and outlining his intent to contribute to the company’s storytelling and scale.

Prior to this, he has worked at Netflix for 7 years and 10 months, holding multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he has served as Director, Marketing from November 2024 to November 2025. Before that, he was Director, Social Marketing – India from September 2022 to November 2024. From May 2021 to September 2022, he has worked as Brand and Editorial Head – India, leading brand campaigns and overall marketing strategy. Earlier, he has been Brand and Editorial Manager – India from February 2018 to May 2021, managing Netflix India’s social ecosystem and campaigns.

Before Netflix, he has worked at Nike for over 3 years across roles including Digital Account Manager from September 2017 to February 2018 and Digital Brand Commerce Coordinator from October 2014 to August 2017. He has begun his career at Titan Company, where he has worked as Senior Marketing Officer from July 2013 to September 2014 and as Brand Executive from June 2012 to June 2013, focusing on digital marketing, social media strategy and campaign execution.
