Philips Unfolds The Secret Behind Virat Kohli’s Beard Insurance

A lot of talks started on social media after Virat Kohli’s CCTV footage went viral in which he was seen giving measurements of his beard. His fans started guessing different reasons for this and soon Indian cricketers like KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal and Umesh Yadav also added to the fun.
Rahul tweeted about this and wrote Haha, I knew you were obsessed with your beard @imVkohli but this news of you getting your beard insured confirms my theory

Chahal also did a similar thing by posting a tweet that read:
Just heard @imVkohli got his beard insured. The story between the legend and his beard continues! Always seen him protective about it, but didn’t expect this. #ViratBeardInsurance

Even Virat acknowledged all this and called the talk around his beard as entertaining.

Now, Philips has revealed the mystery behind all this and a video has been shared in which Virat himself tells the reason behind all this. Here’s the video we are talking about:

Turns out that Virat did get an insurance, not for his daadi but for his gaadi. This was a prank done to adverttise Philips new trimmer and users on Twitter have been impressed by this marketing strategy.

We just loved how Philips India made everyone curious and promoted their product in a fresh way. Other companies need to learn that being creative and engagig is the best way to advertise any product.
