Nykaa Elevates Pearl Shah AS Senior Vice President, Owned Brands – Kay & Private Labels

Pearl Shah, who served as VP Marketing for Owned Brands at Nykaa from June 2023 to May 2026, steps into an expanded leadership role overseeing Kay Beauty and private labels, with a mandate to drive growth, portfolio scale, and sharper market positioning.

Nykaa Elevates Pearl Shah AS Senior Vice President, Owned Brands – Kay & Private Labels

Nykaa has promoted Pearl Shah to Senior Vice President, Owned Brands – Kay and Nykaa Private Label Brands, strengthening its leadership across in-house beauty and fashion portfolios.

She announced the move via her LinkedIn.

Shah steps into the role after serving as Vice President – Marketing, Owned Brands at Nykaa from June 2023 to May 2026. In that role, she led brand-building and consumer engagement for the company’s private labels. In her expanded mandate, she will now drive strategic growth, portfolio expansion, and market positioning across Nykaa’s owned brands, including Kay Beauty.

Prior to this, she was associated with Unilever as Brand Head for Love Beauty & Planet from March 2021 to June 2023, and earlier as Senior Marketing Manager for Lakmé from September 2018 to March 2021, where she worked on strengthening brand equity in competitive beauty segments.

Shah also brings experience across new-age and e-commerce platforms. She was part of the founding team at CRED, serving as Marketing Head from February 2018 to August 2018. Prior to that, she was AVP Marketing at Snapdeal from December 2016 to January 2018, and Head of Marketing Communications at Jabong from January 2014 to September 2016.

She has also worked in editorial, working with Condé Nast India as Associate Beauty Editor for Vogue India from December 2007 to December 2009, followed by a stint as Fashion Director at Marie Claire from December 2009 to August 2013.
