1. WhatsApp
Jan Koum is a Ukrainian-American businessman and computer engineer who is the co-founder and former CEO of WhatsApp. Koum was born in Kyiv, then in the Ukrainian SSR, on February 24, 1976. At the age of 16, he moved with his mother and grandmother to California, USA.
2. Grammarly
Grammarly is a Ukrainian American-headquartered cross-platform cloud-based typing assistant. It was founded in 2009 by Max Lytvyn, Alex Shevchenko, and Dmytro Lider. Lytvyn was born in Kyiv and studied at Vanderbilt University. Shevchenko was raised in Ukraine, attended graduate school in Toronto, and obtained Canadian citizenship.
3. PayPal
Max Levchin is a Ukrainian-American software engineer and businessman who co-founded the company that eventually became PayPal in 1998. Levchin is primarily known for his contributions to PayPal’s anti-fraud efforts and is also the co-creator of the Gausebeck-Levchin test, one of the first commercial implementations of a CAPTCHA.

Founded in 2015 by Nikolay Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko, Revolut is a British financial technology company that offers banking services. While Storonsky is a British-Russian entrepreneur, Yatsenko is a Ukrainian.
