Marriott Bonvoy has partnered with Swiggy to extend its travel loyalty benefits into everyday transactions in India. The collaboration has enabled members who link their accounts to earn Marriott Bonvoy points across Swiggy’s services including food delivery, Instamart and Dineout, bringing the hotel group’s loyalty program beyond travel-related spending.
Through the partnership, Marriott Bonvoy members have been able to earn five points for every Rs 500 spent across Swiggy’s offerings. The integration has allowed users to accumulate loyalty points not only during hotel stays but also while ordering food, making restaurant reservations, or purchasing groceries and other essentials through the platform.
The initiative has also provided additional benefits for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members across tiers including Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador. Eligible members have received a complimentary Swiggy One membership, which offers benefits such as free deliveries, exclusive discounts and access to offers across food delivery, quick commerce and dining out.
The collaboration has reflected a broader shift in loyalty programs towards integrating travel rewards with everyday consumer behaviour. Marriott Bonvoy has expanded its engagement in India through multiple partnerships across sectors including co-branded credit cards, e-commerce and sports, while Swiggy has also explored partnerships linking its platform with travel and hospitality rewards.
