Welspun World’s Manjari Upadhye Joins Mahindra & Mahindra As CMO- Auto Division

After being associated with Welspun World as CEO for more than three years starting June 2021, Manjari Upadhye has now joined Mahindra & Mahindra as CMO- Auto Division. She will be reporting to Nalinikanth (Nal) Gollagunta, CEO- Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra.

Welspun World’s Manjari Upadhye Joins Mahindra & Mahindra As CMO- Auto Division

Former CEO of Welspun World, Manjari Upadhye has now joined Mahindra & Mahindra in the capacity of Chief Marketing Officer- Auto Division.

In her new role at the auto major, she will be reporting to Nalinikanth (Nal) Gollagunta, CEO- Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra.

During her over three years stint at Welspun World wherein she served the role of CEO, she was responsible for overseeing three main divisions including- Home Textiles, Flooring, Advanced Textiles.

From March 2020 to June 2021, she served the role of Director- Category Management (Apparel) at Amazon.

In her earlier stint with Welspun World, Upadhye was associated with the company from October 2017 to March 2020 as CEO Domestic- Home Textiles.

From March 2016 to September 2017, she also served the role of Country Manager at Danone Dairy and was associated with Mondelez International for over thee-and-a-half years, starting June 2012. She joined them as VP- Cocoa Beverages in June 2012 and then advanced to the role of VP- Chocolates in January 2014 and Associate Director Equity- Dairy Milk (APAC) in January 2015.

In the past, she also worked with PepsiCo, Ocean Spray Cranberries and Colgate Palmolive.
