Manish Kalra has decided to step down as Chief Business Officer, India and Global, at ZEE5.
According to sources, he is stepping down to pursue new opportunities and will continue serving a notice period with the company for the next few months.
Kalra joined ZEE5 in May 2020 as SVP and Business Head- AVOD. In January 2021 he was promoted to Chief Business Officer, ZEE5 India. Later, in September 2024, he was elevated to Chief Business Officer India and Global.
Before that, he worked as and independent consultant. Between March 2018 and June 2019, Kalra served as Chief Executive Officer at HomeShop 18. Prior to that, he was associated with Craftsvilla as Chief Business Officer, from February 2016 to March 2018.
Earlier, he worked with Amazon as Director Marketing, from January 2014 to February 2016. Before that, he served as MakeMyTrip’s Marketing Head, between July 2010 and January 2014.
In the past, he was also associated with Dell, PepsiCo, Citibank and ITC.
