FLAMINGO Transworld, a group tour operator in India, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with MakeMyTrip, under which MakeMyTrip will acquire a majority stake in the company, subject to the fulfilment of certain closing conditions.
Over the last 30 years of its operations, Flamingo has operated international and domestic group tours, with offices across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. These tours include Indian meals made by on-tour chefs or verified vegetarian/Jain kitchens, in-house tour managers fluent in regional languages, and coverage of attractions for Indian tourists across domestic and international destinations.
