One97 Communications has announced that Madhur Deora will step down as Executive Director of the company following the conclusion of its upcoming Annual General Meeting. He is retiring by rotation and has not offered himself for reappointment.
He will continue as President and Group Chief Financial Officer, and will support the Chief Executive Officer in expanding the business and strengthening profitability, according to the company’s filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange on July 22, 2025.
The filing also confirms that Bimal Julka, Non-Executive Independent Director, has resigned from the board effective July 22, 2025, to focus on emerging technologies and ease of doing business.
Additionally, Urvashi Sahai, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at One97 Communications, has been appointed as an Additional Director in the category of Whole-time Director for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval.
