Ford Motor Company’s Global Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Materazzo will step away from her role effective June 1, 2026, marking the end of her tenure leading the automaker’s global marketing operations. Her exit comes as Ford continues to reshape its global brand and marketing strategy amid broader changes across the automotive industry.
Materazzo took to LinkedIn to announce her departure.
She joined Ford after nearly a decade at Toyota North America, where she most recently served as Group Vice President, Toyota Marketing from January 2021 to September 2023. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Lexus Marketing from January 2019 to January 2021, and Vice President, Vehicle Marketing & Communications from January 2017 to December 2018. She also held the role of Corporate Manager, Media Strategy & Digital Engagement between March 2014 and January 2017.
Before Toyota North America, Materazzo served as Director of Category Marketing – Automotive at AOL Advertising. Earlier, she was VP, Marketing & Business Development at Ridemakerz, LLC from October 2009 to May 2013, and Senior Director, Business Development at Brand Sense Partners from February 2008 to September 2009.
She also spent a decade at Toyota in various product planning and marketing roles. These included National Marketing & Communications Manager, Scion from September 2006 to February 2008; National Manager, Long Range Planning from January 2003 to September 2006; Product Planning Manager, Toyota Trucks from January 2000 to January 2003; and Senior Product Planner from March 1998 to January 2000.
