JK Tyre & Industries has appointed Mandar Vighnahari Deo as President – India, effective April 14, 2026. He has joined the company as a regular employee and has become part of the senior management team.
The company has disclosed the appointment under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Prior to this, Deo has served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Exide Energy Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Exide Industries. He has played a role in establishing a lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility in India, with an investment exceeding Rs. 6,000 crore.
He has also spent nearly two decades at Cummins India and Cummins, where he has held multiple leadership roles across business units. During his tenure, he has managed profit and loss responsibilities and has led teams across manufacturing plants, technical centres, and sales operations. He has also served as a Board Director for Cummins Generator Technologies and has held global roles spanning sales, marketing, and plant operations in the United States.
