HUL's Ramya Venkat Joins Abbott As Director- Integrated Marketing

Abbott has appointed Ramya Venkat as Director- Integrated Marketing.

She took to LinkedIn and wrote, “As the song goes, every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. My time at HUL has been nothing short of remarkable and I want to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey. I’m excited for this next professional chapter I’m about to embark upon.”

Prior to joining Abbott, she was associated with Hindustan Unilever (HUL) for over fourteen years. She began her journey with the FMCG giant in March 2010 as Assistant Brand Manager- Wheel, Sunlight, Magic. Following this, she was promoted to Regional Brand Manager- Sunlight, Magic in May 2012. After this, she served as Regional Brand Manager- Comfort, Sunlight for two years.

Subsequently, in October 2015 she was named Regional Brand Manager- Comfort. Later, she was elevated to Regional Brand Manager- Surface Cleaners in November 2016. Next, she was Senior Global Brand Manager- Radiant from May 2018 to May 2020.

Later on, from May 2020 to April 2021 she was Senior Regional Brand Manager- Everyman. Following that, she was elevated to Senior Global Brand Manager- Closeup in April 2021. Finally, she served as Senior Regional Brand Manager- Indulekha from April 2023 to November 2024.

In the past, Venkat was associated with Johnson & Johnson and Ogilvy & Mather in different roles.
