21st June is celebrated as International Yoga Day, around the world. This spiritual, mental and physical practice that originated in our country, gained worldwide acceptance with around 300 million people in the world, actively practicing yoga in its different forms.
And starting in 2015, the last day of the third week of June is dedicated to celebrating this powerful technique with various programs and drives held around the world. While so many enthusiasts and even amateurs took advantage of this day with full gusto, our brands in India weren’t far behind.

Taking the ‘Yoga se Hoga’ slogan, the online video sharing and social media giant shows how many people try doing yoga and how many sleep on the mat calling it ‘Shavasana’.

Online travel portal Ixigo urged people to adopt yoga and called it a journey everyone will love taking.
4. Primevideo
The brand hilariously used iconic poses or moments from various films, assigning them names of different asanas in yoga. It also had information regarding how a particular asana helps a human system, referring to the situation in the movie.
5. McDonalds India
Depicting a french fry performing some yoga asanas, the brand asked its followers to identify those asanas.
6. Axis Bank
Using this day’s importance, the brand conveyed the important message of not sharing one’s OTP, CVV or PIN, using the silence-asana, which is simply nodding your heard from left to right and back, whenever anyone asks for it.
7. Parle-G
Everyone’s favourite biscuit brand Parle-G urged people to reconnect with their ownselves, while listening to music and doing yoga!
8. Carmesi
Carmesi rated the levels of happiness with the maximum happiness derived while doing the popular and all-favorite ‘Shavasana’.
9. Google
Always the one to keep in touch with every event and dedicated day, the search giant had a funny way of wishing everyone this International Yoga Day.
