Gagandeep Chawla has been elevated to National Head – DGP (Marketing) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Hero MotoCorp, where he will lead the company’s digital marketing, brand strategy, and customer engagement initiatives across markets.
Chawla announced the development through a post on LinkedIn.
He has been associated with Hero MotoCorp for more than six years across multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he served as National Head – PREMIA Channel Appointment and Development from April 2023 to June 2026, where he led the expansion of Hero PREMIA, the company’s premium retail network.
During his tenure, the network expanded to more than 130 dealerships and supported the launch and distribution of premium products, including the Xtreme 250R, XPulse 210, VIDA EV range, and Harley-Davidson X440.
Prior to that, Chawla held roles including Zonal Marketing Manager East and Zonal Rural Manager East at Hero MotoCorp between 2015 and 2018, leading regional marketing campaigns, rural outreach initiatives, and dealer engagement programs across multiple states.
Between 2018 and 2023, he was associated with Maruti Suzuki India, where he served as Manager, Sales Planning and Strategy, and as Deputy Manager. During this period, Chawla worked on commercial vehicle sales planning, channel expansion, digital transformation projects, and government and corporate mobility initiatives.
Before that, Chawla worked at Accenture as a Software Programmer from July 2011 to June 2013, where he was involved in software testing, client coordination, and technology delivery projects.
