HCL Technologies (HCLTech) has appointed Kimsuka Narsimhan as an Independent Director on its Board for a term of five consecutive years, effective April 20, 2026. The appointment, made by the Board of Directors, is subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot.
Narsimhan joins the board as an Additional Director following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The company also announced her induction into the Audit Committee and the Risk Management Committee as part of a broader board reconstitution. The company noted that her appointment further enhances board diversity, with women now accounting for over 54% of its board composition.
A Chartered and Cost Accountant, Narsimhan brings over three decades of experience across finance, risk management, strategy and business transformation. She has held key leadership roles at global organisations including Kimberly-Clark, PepsiCo and Unilever, where she served in senior finance positions across multiple regions.
Her non-executive experience includes board roles at companies such as Bharti Airtel, Meesho, Akzo Nobel and AstraZeneca, where she has contributed to committees spanning audit, ESG, risk, and remuneration.
