After being associated with GroupM’s Mindshare as Head of Digital- South Asia for more than two-and-a-half years, Gopa Menon has hung his boots at the media agency.

Gopa Menon Calls It A Day At Mindshare As Head Of Digital- South Asia

Gopa Menon, who had been associated with GroupM’s Mindshare as Head of Digital- South Asia for more than two-and-a-half years now, has called it a day at the media agency.

During his stint with Mindshare, he was responsible for driving digital transformation for Mindshare Network; strategizing and implementing business strategies, digital strategies and roadmaps for Mindshare South Asia and its clients; growing Mindshare’s Performance, e-commerce, and Martech capabilities and facilitating collaboration between Mindshare and GroupM agencies to drive business and leverage opportunities amongst others.

As part of his role as Head of Digital- South Asia, Menon was also tasked with developing and establishing comprehensive goals to drive Mindshare’s growth across the market and spearheading the digital transformation process for clients and helping clients bridge any gaps for over two and a half years.

Prior to joining Mindshare, Menon was associated with isobar for over twelve years. Of the total time, he spent the last two-and-a-half years, i.e.- from April 2019 to September 2021, serving the role of Chief Operating Officer at the agency.

Before that, he was associated with isobar as Executive Vice President for a period of two years, starting April 2017. He served the role of Vice President at Isobar from April 2015 to March 2017; Associate Vice President at the agency from April 2013 to March 2015; and Business Head- India from July 2012 to March 2013.

He joined isobar as Director in August 2009.

In his earlier stint with GroupM, he served the role of Business Group Head for more than three years, starting August 2006. During this time, he was heading MEC Interaction (GroupM) Delhi and was responsible for maintaining P&L of the Unit in addition to leading the Delhi Team and being responsible for Strategic Planning, Media Planning and Buying across new media.

In the past, he also worked with RMG Connect, JWT from January 2005 to August 2006 as a Senior Project Executive and at INC Communication as Account Executive for a year.
