List Of 12 Bank Holidays In Month Of September This Year

| Published on August 27, 2021

Owing to the number of festivals as well as second and fourth Saturdays coming up in the month of September this year, as well as weekly offs (Sundays), banks will stay closed for up to 12 days. However, this is definitely dependent on the festival being celebrated in any state and is thus subjective in nature.

Of these, RBI has issued a list of bank holidays that are based on state-wise leaves, religious events as well as festival celebrations. There are a total of 6 weekends in the month and that itself constitutes 12 holidays in the month. Although, there is an overlap between the second Saturday and a leave which is mandated by the RBI that takes place on September 11.
