Rahul Shinde has been appointed Managing Director (MD) of Compass Group India, where he will lead the company’s next phase of growth across food services, workplace solutions, and integrated facility management operations.
The company announced the appointment through a post via LinkedIn.
Shinde joins Compass Group India after founding Home Kouzina in May 2024. Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yum Brands and as a Whole-Time Director at Devyani International from April 2022 to May 2024.
Earlier, he was General Manager for KFC Greater Asia at KFC Asia LLC from March 2020 to July 2022. Before that, he worked as Executive Director at Devyani International from May 2018 to March 2020.
Shinde also held leadership roles at Yum! Brands, serving as Managing Director for KFC Indian Subcontinent from January 2015 to December 2017, Chief Operations Excellence Officer for KFC-Great Britain from January 2013 to December 2014, and Director Corporate Strategic Planning at Yum! Restaurants International between April 2012 and December 2012.
Prior to Yum, Shinde worked at JCPenney as Director, Corporate Strategy, from December 2009 to March 2012, and at McKinsey & Company as Engagement Manager, from July 2005 to December 2009.
