Anurag Iyer, CEO of BigBang.Social, a Collective Artists Network initiative, has decided to step down from the role.
He announced the same on LinkedIn.
Iyer wrote, “Leading Big Bang has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my professional life. What started as a vision has grown into a thriving, resilient, and passionate organisation that I am incredibly proud of. Over the last 2 and half years, we became the largest creator marketplace rooted in pop culture, signing over 100+ talent, launching one of its kind creator apps to create a brand within the powerhouse Collective Artists Network.”
“It was important to me to step away only when the company was in a place of strength- and today, I can say with full confidence that BBS is healthier, stronger, and better positioned for the future than ever before,” he added.
He joined the company as Business Head in September 2022. Before that, he was associated with Glance as Vice President- Global Monetisation Creator and Content.
Prior to that, he worked with ByteDance between February 2020 and June 2021, as Head- Content Solutions- India and then as Head- Content Solutions and Creator Monetisation.
Before that, he looked after business consulting at Haymarket SAC Publishing (India), from June 2019 to February 2020.
Between April 2018 and July 2019, Iyer was associated with Network18 Media and Investments as Head Revenue and Strategy Firstpost. In the past, he was also associated with BloombergQuint, Fame Digital, Times Television International and Zee Networks.
