Ashish Mishra has parted ways with ACKO after serving as Chief Marketing Officer for close to six years. In his role, he has been responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy, brand positioning, customer acquisition, and overall growth initiatives across channels. His last working day at the company has been set for July 2. Mishra has confirmed the development to Marketing Mind.
Prior to this, he has served as Chief Marketing Officer at ACKO from August 2020 to July 2026, based in Bengaluru. Before joining ACKO, he has spent over a decade at HSBC across multiple leadership roles. From June 2015 to August 2020, he has been Head of Marketing for Cards, Loans and Mortgages in Dubai. Earlier, he worked as Regional Marketing Manager – Media and Foreign Exchange from September 2014 to June 2015 in the UAE, and as Regional Manager Marketing for Personal Loans, Mortgages, Auto Loans and Digital Channel Migration from March 2012 to September 2014. Between November 2009 and March 2012, he has held the position of Deputy Head of Marketing in Qatar.
Before these roles, he held positions within HSBC including Regional Marketing Manager – Credit Cards and Advance Proposition from July 2008 to September 2009, Brand and Media Manager from July 2007 to July 2008, and Marketing Manager, Retail from August 2006 to June 2007. He began his career in advertising, serving as Senior Brand Service Manager at Lowe Lintas from August 2004 to July 2006, and earlier as Executive Brand Communications at DDB Mudra Group from April 2003 to August 2004 in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
