Arjun Kalra has taken on the role of Head of Marketing for Uber in India & South Asia, where he has been leading marketing strategy and execution across the region. As part of the APAC Marketing and India and South Asia leadership team, he has been responsible for driving brand growth, overseeing integrated marketing initiatives, and guiding teams across markets to build Uber’s positioning as a trusted mobility platform.

Prior to this, Kalra has worked as an Independent Consultant from October 2024 to March 2026, where he has advised CXOs and startups on marketing transformation, revenue generation, and scaling new business verticals.
Earlier, he had spent over seven years at Apple between August 2017 and September 2024. He has served as Head of Demand Generation and Partner Marketing from June 2022 to September 2024, and as Head of Category Marketing from August 2017 to June 2022.
Before Apple, he has been associated with AB InBev India and South East Asia as General Manager – Core+ Brands and Consumer Connections from July 2015 to August 2017. Prior to that, he has spent over seven years at Yum! Brands from July 2008 to July 2015.
He has begun his career with AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings as Product Manager – Marketing Services from December 2006 to June 2008, following a stint as Senior Business Analyst at Computer Sciences Corporation from May 2006 to December 2006, and earlier as Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from July 2002 to June 2004.
