Amway Ropes In Reckitt’s Amrita Asrani As Its Chief Marketing Officer

Amway has appointed Amrita Asrani as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), tasking her with spearheading the consumerisation of health, wellness, and sustainability by leveraging the strength of community.

Before this, she was associated with Reckitt as Global Brand Marketing Director- Fabric Care and Fashion- Strategy and Innovation, from November 2020 to August 2024. Here, she was responsible for driving transformative growth in emerging D2C channels and designing a purpose-led global disruptive innovation pipeline.

Previously, she served as Associate Director, Marketing- PediaSure- FMCG and Nutrition Marketing Head at Abbott Nutrition International from July 2019 to November 2020. In this role, she launched PediaSure’s first-ever micro-marketing-led category-building initiative ‘Help Every Child GrowRight’.

Previously, in her tenure with ITC, she was Heading Marketing, Business Strategy and NPD- FMCG Health and Wellness Foods and Beverages between 2017 and 2019. In this role, she spearheaded high-growth consumer health benefit opportunities in the ‘specialised food and nutrition’ categories across kids’ health, diabetes, heart health, weight management, cognition, immunity, and digestive health.

From January 2012 to October 2016, she was Country Marketing Head- Global Wellness and Nutrition Portfolio at GSK Consumer Healthcare, India, Dubai, and the Middle East- GCC Countries.

In the past, she was also associated with Abbott Healthcare- Nutraceuticals Business as Group Product Manager, Product Manager, Area and Territory Sales from June 2006 to September 2012.
