Founders feel proud when they get popularity due to their work. Most founders enjoy the fame and they attend events for sharing the tips which led to their success. 1. Howard Schultz: Starbucks

In its early days, Starbucks used to sell only coffee beans and equipment before the company was bought by Howard Schultz in 1987. He was the man behind turning Starbucks into a complete coffee shop.

2. Michele Ferrero: Ferrero

Michele was very passionate about chocolates right from his childhood and he inherited the family business of making chocolates. In the search for trying something different, he created Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs which were loved by kids. Later he made Tic Tac which is popular all over the world.

3. Per Enevoldsen & Winnie Enevoldsen: Pandora

Pandora started when the Enevoldsen family opened a small jewellery shop in 1982. They used to import jewellery from Thailand and sold it at some profit. Soon, they received a good response from the buyers and the company grew very quickly after that.

4. Amancio Ortega: Zara

Amancio sold nightgowns and bathrobes with his wife right in their living room before starting Zara. Once a German seller declined a big order and his wife decided to sell the stock herself. This ended up in the opening of Zara in 1975.

5. Phil Knight: Nike

Phil Knight and his coach Bill Bowerman both loved running. They used to face a lot of problems in running because of uncomfortable shoes available at that time. This made them start their own company to sell sneakers, this company is now known as Asics. Later, Phil and Bill decided to start their own brands and in 1978, Nike entered sports footwear market.

6. Kevin Systrom: Instagram

Kevin loved photography and he got the idea of Instagram when one of his teachers showed him a Holga camera that made square photos in retro style. He was fascinated by it and started the search for investors for his new project. Within 2 years of its launch, Instagram was bought by Facebook

7. Larry Page and Sergey Brin: Google

The founders of internet’s most popular search engine also don’t like to come in too many functions or magazine interviews. Google was started by these 2 at Stanford University.

8. Ole Kirk Christiansen: Lego

Before starting Lego, Ole Kirk opened a business that made ironing boards and ladders, but soon he decided to enter the toys industry by selling wooden toys. After some time, the trend of plastic toys came into existence and this led Kirk to design Lego products.
