Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India has recently launched their weekly report ranking the top Indian channels according to their AMA ’000 (Average Minute Audience in ‘000s). AMA ’000 is the weekly impressions that these channels have had in the said period.

As per BARC’s Week 15 Data, from 9th April 2022 To Friday, 15th April 2022, Sun TV has ranked No. 1 across all regions in the country. It received 2643.56 weekly impressions (AMA’000).

Top 10 Channels – All India

Sun TV took the lead all over India as the number 1 channel with 2643.56 weekly impressions (AMA’000). Star Sports 1 Hindi followed the lead and stood at the second spot with 2492.79 (AMA’000). This could be credited to the ongoing IPL matches.

Star Maa, Star Plus, and Star Vijay were amongst the top 5 channels in that order. Dangal, Sony SAB, Star Pravah, Zee Telugu, and Zee Kannada followed with weekly impressions of 1679.7, 1595.01, 1363.42, 1345.70, and 1318.54 (AMA’000), respectively.

Top 05 Channels In Hindi Speaking Market

When it comes to Hindi Speaking Market, Start Sports 1 Hindi topped the charts with a weekly score of 2447.57 (AMA’000). With the ongoing IPL 2022, Star Sport 1 was expected to be on number one spot.

Star Plus, Danfal, Sont SAB, and Star Pravah were the top 5 channel in the hindi speaking market for the week.

Top 05 Channels In South India

Sun TV has been the top channel just not in South India but all over India as well with weekly impressions of 2634.05 (AMA’000). The reaming four channels, Star Maa, Star Vijay, Zee Telugu, and Zee Kannada had weekly impressions of 2355.28, 1690.5, 1320.45, and 1301.51 (AMA’000).
