Samsung Launches Galaxy S9 & S9 Plus, Here Are Their 7 Interesting Features

The GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) for the year 2018 is underway on February 25th and will end on February 28th. A series of launches are lined up throughout the event from various manufacturers like Samsung, Nokia, LG, Huawei etc. Some of the important launches from the event are Huawei Matebook X Pro (World’s First Bezel-less Laptop), Nokia 8110 4G Reloaded, Nokia 1, Nokia 6, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8 Sirocco etc. Of all the launches, Samsung’s new flagship Galaxy S9 is the most hyped smartphone to look out for. Owing to the hype, Samsung has launched its’ newest flagship devices Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. These devices come up with 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants while the S9 has a single camera, the S9+ comes with a dual camera set up with some pretty interesting features.

Here are some of the Interesting features from Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus

1) Dual Camera on S9+ with dual variable aperture

First of its kind in a smartphone, Samsung introduced variable aperture camera which works at either f1.5 or at f2.4. If it is dark switch to F1.5 and in the daylight switch to F2.4 for perfect shots.

2) Dolby Atmos with Stereo speakers

Dolby Atmos surround delivers a rich theatre like experience. This is an enhancement to S8

3) Live Translation

Just like the Google Lens, Samsung has come up with the real-time Live translation feature.

4) AR Emoji

This is the Animoji for the Android. Bored with the traditional emoji? Samsung lets you create your own emoji to make it more interesting. We all knew that Apple has come up with the same kind of feature with the iPhone X.

5) Super Slow Mo

Apart from the regular slow motion, S9 Plus can record Super Slow-Mo videos at 960 frames per second at 720P

6) Iris Scanning along with Facial Recognition and Fingerprint Scanner

7) The new flagship devices still have USB Type C, Wireless charging, Infinity Display and the very important Headphone jack.
