One thing that has come forth from social media is that people have found a career out of it. The power of the internet is so strong that just one video or a post can make someone a social media star overnight. We have seen many cases where people became popular like Priya Prakash Varrier from her wink or Renu Mandal with her singing talent.

However, the limelight faded with time. There is one social media influencer who has become a sensation without speaking a single word.

Meet Khaby Lame who has the second most-followed TikTok account in the world. Whether it is BTS, Will Smith, or Dwane ‘The Rock’ Johnson, he has defeated them all when it comes to social media reach.

So how did Khaby become a sensation without saying a single word?

‘Project nightfall‘, which is a social media channel that spreads awareness about sensitive and important topics around the world, did an explanatory video on Khaby’s success story.

As per the video shared by Project Nightfall‘s Agon Hare, Khaby’s success can be credited to his tone of simple comedy. Nothing too exaggerated or political. Khaby is known to simplify overly complicated life hack videos and show how it should be actually done.

People seem to not get enough of Khaby’s sense of humor. But do you know what Khaby’s life was before becoming popular?

Khaby is a Senegalese-born 21-year-old TikToker based in Italy. Before becoming famous on TikTok, Lame worked as a CNC machine operator.

Once the pandemic hit, Khaby lost his job like many others. He soon decided to move in with his parents and started looking for a job. Instead, he found TikTok. Khaby would spend hours on the app making fun videos.

His highly relateable videos with a refreshing tone of the content are what separates him from other social media influencers. Where the internet is full of over-exaggerated and unrealistic content, Khaby came as a breath of fresh air for all of us. And his success is truly commendable.

Mother Dairy is targeting a 20% increase in revenue to over Rs 24,000 crore in FY27, backed by rising consumer demand and plans to expand into new markets, according to media reports. As per media reports, the dairy major recorded a turnover of Rs 20,300 crore in FY26, up 17% year-on-year. The company has more than doubled its revenue over the last five years, crossing the Rs 20,000-crore milestone. As part of its growth strategy, Mother Dairy is looking to strengthen its presence outside Delhi-NCR. Chairman Meenesh Shah said the company is exploring entry into new markets where it currently has limited or no presence. The company is also setting up a dairy plant in Maharashtra, has leased a facility in Hyderabad, and is establishing a second plant in Bihar. Managing Director Jayateertha Chary said sales in the first two months of the fiscal have been encouraging, with ice cream emerging as a strong-performing category. Reports also suggest that from Mother Dairy’s FY26 turnover, the dairy business contributed more than Rs 15,000 crore, while edible oils and horticulture accounted for around Rs 5,000 crore. Around 63% of revenue came from Delhi-NCR, with the remainder generated from other parts of the country. The company currently reaches more than 95 cities across India and operates nine milk processing plants, four horticulture processing plants and 16 associated edible oil facilities.
