Check Out World’s Least Expensive Cities For 5-Star Hotels

According to a new survey conducted by LuxuryHotel.com, India hosts seven of the world’s 10 cities with the least expensive five-star hotels. Chennai offers the world’s most affordable five-star hotel rooms and Jaipur stands in the eighth position as the least expensive Indian city in the top 10. As per the survey, seven of India’s cities are featured in the top 50 cities which have the highest percentage of 5-star hotels.

Here are the top 10 cities which have the most affordable luxury stays in the country.

Chennai

The least expensive of all cities in the country, this city offers 5-star hotels at the start price of Rs 3,530 per night making it the least expensive in the world. With several hotels which offer top-notch services, this city hosts numerous options for holiday-ers right from farm stays, beach view hotels and quick getaways.

Bengaluru

About Rs 1,000 more than Chennai, this city comes third in line after Malaysia’s Johor Bahru. Also known to be India’s IT Hub, this city incorporates a host of lavish hotels which are top-voted and offer resplendent service. With places quite near the city to plan a quick getaway, this city has definitely boosted the hospitality industry in the country.

Agra

Right behind Bengaluru, Agra comes 4th in line as the city to offer the least expensive luxury hotel stays in the country. A popular location for a destination wedding and multiple heritage sites, there’s a lot to visit in the city. Stays start off at around Rs 4,360 per night.

Kolkata

West Bengal’s Kolkata and Delhi, which come in 5th and 6th position respectively on the list, start off at Rs 5,200 per night. Both metropolitan regions have a lot to offer with their heritage sites and must-visit places in the cities.

Mumbai

The financial capital of the country comes 7th in line with prices starting at Rs 5,400 per night. This cultural capital, known to build dreams offers splendiferous nightlife, superb restaurant options and vibrant weekend resorts.

Jaipur

Coming in 8th on the list, the city starts off its least expensive hotel stays at Rs 5,800. This pink city, famous for its royalty and the traditional Rajasthani culture that is celebrated very vigorously offers a lot of experiences to travellers visiting the city.

The last two spots on the list are taken up by Thailand’s Phuket and the Philippines’ Cebu. These places offer luxury hotel stays starting from Rs5,920 per night.
