India is currently one of the fastest growing economies in the world due to the large workforce we have. The change in the spending habits of Indians has also lead the country to make more money than ever. This has been even proven by the research institute Oxford Economics as their latest report has revealed top 10 fastest-growing cities by GDP between 2019 and 2035 and all the cities are India.
Surat, known as diamond processing and trading center in Gujarat, has achieved the top position in terms of average annual GDP growth rate of 9.2% from 2019 to 2035.
According to this report, GDP of Agra, Uttar Pradesh will grow by 8.6% year on year, while Bengaluru will grow 8.5% per year by 2035.

This report has been made after evaluating 780 cities estimating that the world’s major urban economies will grow by 2.8% a year.
The survey predicts that as of 2027, the combined GDP of all Asian cities will exceed that of North American and European cities together and by 2035 it will be 17% higher.

The latest economic forecast of the IMF even believes that India’s economy will grow faster than China’s in 2019 at a rate of 7.4% compared to China’s 6.2%.
