AirHelp has done a survey which has revealed the top and worst airports in the world. One good news is that Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has been ranked as the world’s eighth best. It is the only Indian airport to be featured in the top 10 list of best airports in the world.
The highest position has been achieved by Hamad International Airport in Qatar for the second year while Lisbon Portela Airport in Portugal has been ranked as the worst.

The parameters for this ranking included:
- Service Quality
- On-time Performance
- Food and shopping options
The research also revealed the problems faced by Airports. Due to the rapid increase in global tourism, Congestion is the biggest problem faced by airports. Airlines need to improve their claim-processing operations.
