The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has opened corporate co-branding rights for 12 stations on the Aqua Line, allowing private companies to associate their brand names with metro stations and use designated indoor and outdoor spaces for advertising. The initiative has aimed to strengthen brand visibility while maximising the corporation’s non-fare-box revenue.
As per media reports, the selected licensee has been offered branding rights for a period of 10 years and has been allowed to prefix or suffix its brand name with the station name, subject to NMRC’s approval. The licensee has also been permitted to install and manage indoor and outdoor advertisements, including backlit panels, LED and LCD displays, digital screens, smart posters and other non-audio advertising formats.
The selected bidder has also been required to reserve 5% of the advertising space at each station for public awareness and social campaigns, in line with NMRC’s requirements. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for August 11, while applications have been invited until August 25.
The stations covered under the co-branding initiative have included Sector 76, Sector 81, Sector 83, Sector 101, Sector 137, Sector 144, Sector 145, Sector 147, Sector 148, Pari Chowk, Alpha-1 and Depot Station. Among them, Pari Chowk and Alpha-1 have offered the largest advertising inventory, with 460 square metres of outdoor advertising space, including station pillars, and 200 square metres of indoor advertising space. The remaining stations have each offered 300 square metres of outdoor advertising space.
The Aqua Line has connected Noida Sector 51 to Depot Station in Greater Noida and has recorded an average daily ridership of around 60,705 passengers, according to June 2026 data.
