India’s medal tally remained unchanged on Day 4 of Cannes Lions 2026, with no wins across the seven categories announced – Creative Business Transformation, Brand Experience & Activation, Creative Commerce, Luxury, Innovation, Creative Effectiveness and Creative Strategy.
The outcome mirrors Day 3, when Indian campaigns shortlisted in the Media and Direct Lions categories also failed to convert into awards.
Despite securing one shortlist each in Brand Experience & Activation and Creative Commerce, along with two shortlists in Creative Strategy, none of India’s entries converted into Lions. As a result, the country’s overall tally remains at five Lions, comprising two Silver and three Bronze.
India has secured a total of 24 shortlists at Cannes Lions 2026 so far. The subdued performance comes amid a significantly lower level of Indian participation compared to last year.
