L’Oréal India has awarded its media mandate to Publicis Groupe’s Zenith. Sources close to the development have confirmed the move to Marketing Mind. The business was previously handled by Wavemaker India, which had managed the account since 2010. The mandate has included media strategy, planning, digital, content, performance marketing and media buying across the company’s portfolio.
Wavemaker had most recently retained the account in 2021 following a competitive pitch process. The latest review has resulted in the business moving to Zenith.
The account, as per reports, is estimated to be worth somewhere around Rs 900 to Rs 1200 crore.
L’Oréal India operates across mass, premium, salon and dermatological beauty segments. Its consumer portfolio includes L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline New York and NYX Professional Makeup, while its professional products division includes Matrix and Kérastase.
The company also operates in the luxury and dermatological beauty segments with brands such as Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Kiehl’s and CeraVe. The mandate is expected to add to Zenith’s media billings in India.
