Amit Murthy Joins Schbang As Business Head

Amit Murthy Joins Schbang As Business Head

Amit Murthy has joined as Business Head. In his new role, he has been entrusted with leading a mandate focused on scale, storytelling and purpose-driven business initiatives while working closely on integrated brand and communication strategies.

Murthy has shared the update through a LinkedIn post, where he announced the beginning of a new chapter in his career and expressed excitement aboSchbangut taking on a new challenge with the agency.

Prior to joining Schbang, Murthy had served as Vice President at Dentsu Creative from November 2020 to February 2026.

Before that, he had worked as Business Partner at The Womb Communications from December 2018 to February 2020 in Mumbai. Earlier, he had been associated with Enormous as Client Servicing Director from February 2016 to May 2018.

Murthy had spent over seven years at MullenLowe Lintas Group between July 2008 and February 2016 across multiple leadership roles including Brand Services Manager, Senior Brand Services Manager, Brand Services Director and Senior Brand Services Director.

Earlier in his career, he had worked as Senior Account Executive at Ogilvy and Mather from February 2007 to March 2008, handling brands including Parle Products, Tata Housing and Principal Mutual Funds. Before that, he had served as Senior Account Executive at Beehive Communications from December 2005 to January 2007.
