Mehak Gulati has exited Bharti Airtel after a seven-year stint, where she most recently served as Chief Brand Officer. In the role, she had been leading the company’s brand, media and insights functions. She had also briefly served as AI Transformation Lead at the telecom brand in 2023.
Gulati has shared the update through a post on LinkedIn, reflecting on her journey at Airtel and the experiences she has had during her tenure.
Prior to her most recent role, Gulati had served as AI Transformation Lead at Airtel from July 2023 to September 2023. Before that, she had taken a six-month career break between January 2023 and June 2023 for maternity leave. Earlier, she had worked as Head of Branding at Airtel from June 2019 to December 2022.
Before joining AirtelAirtel, Gulati had spent over eight years at Unilever. She had joined the company as a Business Leadership Trainee in May 2011 and had worked in the role until August 2012. She had then served as Brand Manager, Handwash and Bodywash from August 2012 to October 2014, followed by the role of Global Brand Manager, Dove Masterbrand between October 2014 and November 2015. She had later worked as Global Brand Manager, Dove and Baby Dove from November 2015 to May 2019.
