Shanu Singh has joined Standard Chartered as Head – Marketing for Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) in India. In this role, she has been responsible for leading marketing strategy, brand positioning, and customer engagement for the bank’s wealth and retail banking business in the country.
She has shared the update on LinkedIn, announcing her return to the organisation after a five-year gap.
Prior to this, she has served as Director – The Economic Times Brand at BCCL from July 2025 to March 2026. Before that, she has been Chief Marketing Officer at ASK Asset and Wealth Management from September 2021 to June 2025, where she has overseen brand strategy, business insights, and marketing transformation.
Earlier, she has spent over six years at Standard Chartered Bank between August 2015 and September 2021, holding multiple leadership roles. She has worked as Director – Brand and Marketing (Consumer, Private and Business Banking) from January 2021 to September 2021, Director – Brand and Marketing (Retail Banking, Wealth and Sponsorships) from January 2020 to January 2021, Director – Brand and Marketing (Retail Products and Wealth) from April 2018 to January 2020, Director – Brand & Marketing, Retail Segments from April 2016 to March 2018, and Head – Marketing (Personal Banking, Retail Assets & Business Clients) from August 2015 to April 2016.
Before joining Standard Chartered, she has been associated with Kotak Mahindra Bank across multiple roles between June 2006 and August 2015. She has served as AVP – Brand and Marketing Communications from April 2013 to August 2015, Chief Manager – Product Marketing from January 2010 to April 2013, Senior Relationship Manager – NRI Banking from June 2008 to March 2009, and Priority Relationship Manager from June 2006 to May 2008.
