Sapphire Foods India Limited has promoted Punit Jhunjhunwala to the role of Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer. The appointment has become effective from the close of business hours on May 4, 2026.
The company has stated that Jhunjhunwala has been serving as Vice President and Head – Finance & Accounts prior to this elevation. He has continued to report to Vijay Jain, Executive Director and CFO.
Jhunjhunwala has been associated with the organisation for over eight years. During this period, he has contributed to the finance function across areas including accounts, banking and treasury, taxation, and financial planning and analysis.
He has brought over 17 years of experience in finance, having previously worked with companies such as Zee Entertainment Enterprises and Tata Steel. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
